Design Week- part 1

As I mentioned in the previous post, I went with some friends to Milan to attend the Design Week. It was a last minute decision to go, but I'm really happy that I went, we saw lots of excellent things, and some very inspiring designs!

This year there is a lot more emphasis on warmer colors, lots of wood, beige and gray tones.

Also many natural elements...

The bathrooms were one of my favorite things... they have started to be treated like normal rooms, they are becoming more spacious and have regular materials, and are no longer tiny spaces with the typical tiles... some designs look really excellent!

This time we had the opportunity to look around beyond the main exhibitions and visit the city a bit more! There were many additional smaller design-related showrooms, and of course the city is beautiful. More on the next part!
