Lots of progress this week!

End of the week, more things are done! (thanks guys!)

The sitting area next to the entrance is done, with some excellent finishing detail on the connection to the wall!

Kitchen is almost ready!

Nice details in the kitchen island and the sink!

We also added some bedside tables in the bedroom...

... aaahhhh yes, the joys of packing!

Slow week!

It has been a slow week, as we are waiting for more furniture arrivals and for the final assembly!

But here are some recent images with the updates:

Living room full of boxes!

More boxes in the corridor, and our first lamp!

The apartment might not be ready yet, but that didn't stop us from having a drink in our balcony!

Some of the furniture was recently delivered! I cant't wait for them to start to putting it together...

Friends visit

I took a group of close friends to see our flat! Here is how it went:

We had some pierogi, sitting on the ground, of course...

Then we had a video call with Ze who is still in the United States. And Michał was happy!

And of course the day could not be over without some silly poses! (we were trying to do a tea kettle, a vase and a barrel!)

Bathroom is almost done...

The tiles are done, the bathtub is in place, the floor is ready! Now all we need is a toilet bowl... and a sink... and taps... and mirrors... and lamps... and doors.... ok, there is still a lot to do!

Quick updates...

Lights have started to be installed, bathroom tiles are sealed, and the floor is protected for the painting of the walls!

While we wait for further updates...

... I can write about what's going on. This month I had to come to the United States to the headquarters of the company that I work for, Epic Games.

Sometimes this doesn't feel like a workplace... with it's huge kitchen, playroom, rock climbing wall and everything...

But trust me, we work hard!

First visit!

Today our dog Leeloo saw the flat for the first time! I think she liked it :)

The floor in the bathroom is almost black. In the rest of the flat is grey.

Furniture production update :)

 Once again, our friends from my company have sent us pictures of their workshop!

Our bed before and during painting, I am so excited!

A door to a wardrobe, with 7 hinges! We're pretty sure it won't fall down...
